SERVICE INFORMATION

Since November 1983 production, the mono-valve diaphragm and inner seal have been improved to resist tearing.

In addition, the insert (identified by a blue dot on top) is now available as a replacement part. When replacing an insert, be certain to include all parts as shown in Fig 1 .

IMPORTANT: Match the wide notch in the sleeve (1) to the electrical wire connection, and be sure it stays correctly positioned during installation of the insert (Fig 1 ).

We strongly recommend that each time the mono-valve plug is disconnected, the pin sockets are inspected for corrosion or looseness. If corroded, they must be cleaned or replaced. If they are not corroded, they should be pinched for a good tight fit using a sharp pointed tool. This will even intermittent problems later.
