Fuel Supply: Microswitch

The microswitch is activated by ECU with a constant voltage signal (approximately 8 volts). During decel operation, circuit to the ECU is closed by the microswitch. The setting-in rate of speed for decel shutoff depends on coolant temperature (lower the coolant temperature, higher the rate of resetting in speed of the fuel injection).

When the accelerator pedal is actuated, the microswitch has already opened before opening of the throttle valve, and decel shut-off is interrupted before the throttle valve opens. This prevents cut-in hesitation. Signals arriving at the ECU result in a change of current direction at the electro-hydraulic controlling element.
