Fuel Distributor: Removal
- Disconnect battery and remove air cleaner. Unscrew all fuel and injection lines on fuel distributor and on injection valves. Catch excess fuel with a rag. Close off fuel feed and return lines.
- Remove electrical plug connection from electro-hydraulic controlling element. Unscrew fuel line for cold start valve and double thread connection on fuel distributor.
- Unscrew the 3 fastening screws on fuel distributor. Loosen fuel distributor by turning back and forth and remove unit from vehicle, being careful not to drop sealing "O" ring into intake system. See Figure .
