SERVICE INFORMATION
MBNA has approved the use of the Fluke model 98 Automotive ScopeMeter.
The Fluke model 98 Automotive ScopeMeter offers some features not found in the previous Fluke 97 model.
- Menu: pull-down menus let you pick basic test. Meter sets up test, guides you through connections.
- Flight recorder mode: captures readings in three ways, expanded over Fluke model 97.
- Simplified operation: pre-programmed pointer key allows quick movement through flight recorder.
- Information key: touch key for detailed description of any function in menu.
- Smooth: adjustable smoothing to eliminate extraneous noise from signals being tested.
- Save/recall: save waveforms for later recall by pressing key, freeze waveform to save or print.
- Language: menus, help screens and manual in two languages: English and Spanish.
The Fluke 98 Automotive ScopeMeter is supplied with the following standard equipment:
- Yellow protective holster
- Hardcase with pouches
- AC power adapter/battery charger
- Shielded test lead sets: 2 mm adapter, 4 mm adapter, back probe pins, wide jaw alligator clip set, ground wire with banana plug, O2 adapter.
- Capacitive pickup
- Inductive pickup
- 2 BNC leads
- Ground lead
- Extension ground lead
- Demonstration board with 9 volt battery (automotive signal demonstrator)
- User's manual
