Throttle Valve Switch
- Set multimeter to read highest ohm scale. Disconnect throttle valve switch plug connector. Measure resistance between terminals No. 3 and 2 (full load contacts) at idle position. Measurement should be infinity.
- Measure full load/full throttle by pushing throttle valve against full throttle stop. Meter reading should be zero ohms. As throttle valve is released slightly back toward idle position, reading should move to infinity. If readings are not as described, adjust or replace throttle valve switch.
