Airflow Sensor With Intake Air Temperature Sensor
Airflow sensor is located between the air filter and turbocharger. The airflow sensor plate is held closed by a return spring. With incoming air, a plate opens to a specific angle which is measured by a potentiometer to produce a voltage signal in proportion to movement of the plate. Intake air temperature is sensed by intake air temperature sensor located in the airflow sensor. See Fig 1 .
