Fixed Operating Mode

All input signals are continuously monitored by LH control unit. If one of the input signals is not plausible, LH control unit will create a replacement value for the bad signal. This function ensures fuel injection will continue to operate. As an example, if the engine coolant temperature sensor is disconnected, the LH control unit will detect an interruption in engine coolant temperature sensor signal and enter a fixed operating mode.
