Air Pressure Sensor

Air pressure sensor is integrated into Electronic Diesel System (EDS) control unit. EGR volume is affected by the air pressure sensor, depending on altitude and ambient air pressure. The air pressure sensor provides EDS control unit with a decreasing voltage signal with decreasing air pressure (increasing altitude). EDS control unit adjusts EGR volume to ambient air pressure by reducing current to vacuum transducer.
