Test 13: Right Front Window Switch Opening Function Circuit

Using Adapter (202 589 03 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to convenience control module. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage between terminals No. 1 and 2 at breakout box. When right front window switch is in rest position, battery voltage should exist. When right front window switch is in OPEN position (first detent), less than one volt should exist. When right front window switch is in one-touch open position (second detent), less than one volt should exist. If voltage is as specified and right front window does not open, check the following and repair as necessary:

• Check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
• Replace convenience control module.

If voltage is not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If wiring is okay, replace right front window switch.
