Test 16: Left Rear Window Switch Opening Function Circuit

Using Adapter (202 589 03 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to convenience control module. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Ensure rear window safety switch if off. Measure voltage between terminals No. 27 and 33 at breakout box. When either left rear window switch is in rest position, battery voltage should exist. When either left rear window switch is in OPEN position, less than one volt should exist. If voltage is as specified and left rear window does not open, check the following and repair as necessary:

• Check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
• Perform TEST 20  .
• Replace convenience control module.

If voltage is not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If wiring is okay, replace appropriate left rear window switch.
