Convenience Feature Malfunctioning

  1. Disconnect power seat control module harness connector No. 4. See Figure . Measure voltage between pins No. 2 and 4 at power seat control module connector No. 4. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, replace power seat control module.
  2. Measure voltage between pins No. 1 and 2 at power seat control module connector No. 4. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, replace power seat control module.
  3. Remove wire from terminal No. 4 at power control module harness connector No. 4. Connect power seat control module harness connector No. 4. Ensure seat-back is all the way back against stop. Measure voltage between ground and disconnected wire. If greater than 5 volts exists, system is okay at this time. If 4 volts or less exists, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If wiring is okay, replace seat-back latch switch.
