Retrieving Codes
NOTE:
Following procedures are performed using a impulse counter scan tool. Codes may also be retrieved using HHT. Follow HHT manufacturer's instructions to retrieve codes using HHT.
- Using Adapter (140 589 14 63 00), connect Impulse Counter (124 589 19 21 00) to data link connector, according to manufacturer's instructions. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Press start button for 3 seconds, wait 3 seconds and LED should flash. Count flashes to determine code and record code.
- After LED stops flashing, press start button for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds LED will flash. Count number of flashes to determine next code and record code.
- Repeat step 2) until first code is retrieved again. When first code is retrieved again, retrieval sequence is complete. After codes have been retrieved, perform appropriate test in SYSTEM TESTS

Codes 2-14 indicate which component caused anti-theft system to activate, not necessarily the presence of a malfunction or a defect.
