11/97 -2 GROUP 07 - ALL MY 1997 MODELS WITH HFM ENGINES: UPDATE TO DTB 07/97, TOPIC NO. 07/97-3, MB-NET MESSAGE NO. 111 DATED MARCH 14, 1997. If you receive vehicles with conditions of hard starting, rough idle, lack of performance/misfire, engine not revving higher that 2500 rpm, the flywheel sensor plug may be corroded and/or water may be in the plug of the flywheel sensor. This condition may set DTC codes relating to flywheel sensor or misfire. Please replace the flywheel sensor and engine harness (plug not available separately).
