  Glow plugs task To preheat the prechamber or combustion chamber in order to achieve the necessary ignition temperature for fuel-air mixture.  
  Glow plugs design   GF15.20-P-3101-02H 
  Glow plugs function When the preglow system is switched on, a current of about 30 A flows to each glow plug. The heating winding heats the glow plug. The control winding increases its resistance as the temperature rises and limits the current to approx. 15 - 25 A. This protects the glow plugs (R9) from overload
