Test 10: ETS Signal (Vehicles Without Can Connection To Instrument Cluster)

Using Adapter (202 589 03 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to traction control module. See Figure, Figure or Figure. Check voltage between terminals No. 26 and 57 at breakout box. With ignition switch in RUN position, less than one volt should exist and ETS warning light should illuminate. Start engine and let idle. Battery voltage should exist and ETS warning light should go off. If voltage and warning light are not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, replace appropriate traction control module.
