2.3L, 2.8L & 3.2L: Removal

Remove valve cover. Remove engine compartment panel (if necessary). Remove camshaft position sensor, sealing ring and shim. See Fig 1 .

CAUTION: If installing a new sensor, failure to adjust clearance may result in a damaged camshaft position sensor.
