TPMS Reminder Reset - Procedure 07
NOTE:
This procedure applies to Indirect TPM systems.
NOTE:
Whenever tire pressure has been adjusted, or when wheels or tires have been replaced, the TPM system must be reactivated before it can work.
NOTE:
Some models may require that the engine be running during this procedure (Step 2).
- Ensure inflation pressure of all 4 tires is set to specification.
- Turn ignition on. Make sure the standard display menu appears in the multifunction display.
- Press the up or down arrow button repeatedly until the following message appears in the multifunction display: "RUN FLAT INDICATOR ACTIVE MENU: R-BUTTON ".
- Press the reset button on the instrument cluster. See Fig 1 The following message appears in the multifunction display: "RESTART RUN FLAT INDICATOR? CANCEL or YES".
- Press the "+" button to confirm activation. The following message will appear in the multifunction display: "RUN FLAT INDICATOR RESTARTED".
- After a certain "learning phase", the Run Flat Indicator checks the set pressure values for all 4 tires. If you wish to cancel activation, press the "-" button or wait until the message: "RESTART RUN FLAT INDICATOR? CANCEL or YES" disappears.
