TPMS Reminder Reset - Procedure 07

NOTE: This procedure applies to Indirect TPM systems.
NOTE: Whenever tire pressure has been adjusted, or when wheels or tires have been replaced, the TPM system must be reactivated before it can work.
NOTE: Some models may require that the engine be running during this procedure (Step 2).
  1. Ensure inflation pressure of all 4 tires is set to specification.
  2. Turn ignition on. Make sure the standard display menu appears in the multifunction display.
  3. Press the up or down arrow button repeatedly until the following message appears in the multifunction display: "RUN FLAT INDICATOR ACTIVE MENU: R-BUTTON ".
  4. Press the reset button on the instrument cluster. See Fig 1 The following message appears in the multifunction display: "RESTART RUN FLAT INDICATOR? CANCEL or YES".
  5. Press the "+" button to confirm activation. The following message will appear in the multifunction display: "RUN FLAT INDICATOR RESTARTED".
  6. After a certain "learning phase", the Run Flat Indicator checks the set pressure values for all 4 tires. If you wish to cancel activation, press the "-" button or wait until the message: "RESTART RUN FLAT INDICATOR? CANCEL or YES" disappears.
