COMPLAINT

Returning Analog TeleAid Control Units

CAUSE

N/A

REMEDY

For the above model vehicles, all Analog TeleAid control units (Fig 1) exchanged under warranty must be accompanied by a Quick Test printout containing at least one of the below listed (Fig 2 and Fig 3 ) critical DTCs. In addition, any DTCs stored in the control unit must not be erased. When an Analog control unit contains any of the critical DTCs listed (Fig 2 and Fig 3 ), replace the analog unit with a digital unit using Fig 4 as a reference.

NOTE: If the TeleAid control unit is unresponsive to Star Diagnosis, include a short test / quick test showing the communication error.

If none of the below listed critical DTCs are found in the control unit, reference the "TeleAid DTC Description" document found on StarTek Info.

NOTE: All parts will be tested. Parts returned without stored critical fault codes and without the proper paperwork will be returned to the dealership and the claim will be debited.
