18M/99-2 GROUP 47 - ML320 (163.154), ML430 (163.172), ML55 (163.174): To avoid damaging the fuel line connector (s) while replacing a fuel pump/sending unit assembly, the fuel lines must be disconnected/removed using the recommended fuel line removal tool PN 163-589-00-37-00 (see WIS-AR47. 20-P-5713GH). After removing fuel lines, the locking tabs should be inspected and any lines showing signs of damage to the locking tabs must be replaced.
