06/01-2 GROUP 83 - MODEL 203, CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL OPERATING INCORRECTLY: Recently a number of Air Conditioning Control panels have been returned and found to have no fault found. If you receive complaints on model 203 of the air conditioning operating incorrectly, before replacing the control panel please check the system using the following procedure.
Reset the control panel and adjuster motors by simultaneously pressing the air recirculation and defrost buttons on the control panel and holding them for at least 5 seconds. The LED's in the defrost and air recirculation buttons will flash alternately. Wait until the LED's have stopped flashing (approx. 30 sec.). The system is now set to defrost and the LED lights up. Switch off the ignition. Check the evaporator temperature sensor and the pressure sensor for correct functionality.
