Transmitter Key Operating Intermittently

SERVICE INFORMATION

If you encounter instances on Model 203 of vehicles which cannot be locked / unlocked using the remote control on the SmartKey, or if the key cannot be turned in the Electronic Ignition Switch (N73), please replace only the transmitter key. Replacement of the Electronic Ignition Switch or the Electronic Steering Lock (N26/5) is not required unless replacement of transmitter key did not resolve issue. Costs for unnecessary component replacement as indicated will not be covered by Warranty.

Please use the NEW part numbers when ordering. The key can be identified by the first three digits of the 7- digit number on the SmartKey (refer to picture).
