Test 26: Left Rear Power Window Switch Close Function Circuit (Close Function)

- Using Adapter (140 589 12 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to combination control module. See Figure. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect combination control module connector "A". See Figure. UNLOCK rear window safety switch. Measure resistance between terminals No. 37 and 77 at breakout box. With both switches at rest position, 20,000 ohms should exist. If resistance is not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, check door mounted and console mounted left front power window switch. Repair or replace as necessary.
- Press and hold console mounted left front power window switch to CLOSE position. Less than 10 ohms should exist. If resistance is not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, check console mounted left front power window switch. Repair or replace as necessary.
- Press door mounted left front power window switch to CLOSE position. Less than 10 ohms should exist. If resistance is not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Perform TEST 29: REAR WINDOW SAFETY SWITCH CIRCUIT and TEST 30: CENTER CONSOLE LEFT REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST . Check left rear power window switch. Repair or replace as necessary.
