Lockup recognition 

There is a Hall sensor at each of motors (M27m1, M27m2, M27m3, M27m4 and M27m5) and motors (M28m1, M28m2, M28m3, M28m4 and M28m5) (with code (242b) electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory).

Lockup is detected if there is no pulse from the Hall sensor.

Anti-lock device 

If lockup is detected while an adjusting function is active, the relevant motor (M27m1, M27m2, M27m3, M27m4, M27m5, M28m1, M28m2, M28m3, M28m4 and M28m5) is switched off approximately 2 seconds by the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) or the passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) (with code (242b) electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory).

It is not possible to make another adjustment in the same direction for approximately 2 seconds, but adjustments can be made in the opposite direction immediately.
