SERVICE INFORMATION

If you encounter instances in the above model vehicles of "Display Defective" or diagnostic indicator lamps illuminated after the installation of an instrument cluster, perform the following.

Ensure that the latest software is installed into STAR Diagnosis.
Using STAR Diagnosis enter into the following menus and verify that the proper instrument cluster version coding is selected. Control Units -> Information & Communication -> ICM Instrument Cluster with Maintance Interval Display -> Control Unit Adaptations -> Version Coding -> Coding Specific for Instrument Cluster.

If the vehicle's specific version coding differs from the table below, correct and adapt the appropriate changes.
