COMPLAINT
SRS lamp flashes, but no longer flashes after "Ignition OFF and ON". No fault is stored in the airbag control unit.
CAUSE
Software error
REMEDY
Switching the ignition off and on again rectifies the fault and there is no longer a fault entry in the airbag control unit. It is not necessary to replace the airbag control unit,
If this is a repeat occurrence, replace the airbag control unit. The corresponding part number for the airbag control unit can be found in the EPC.
