CDI AC compressor shutoff, function - GF07.16-P-3010IC
ENGINE 647.961 in MODEL 211
ENGINE 648.960 in MODEL 220
ENGINE 648.961 in MODEL 211
Switching off the coolant compressor reduces its output at start-up and acceleration, in order to make the maximum performance available.
For this purpose, the CDI control unit sends a signal to reduce the torque via the CAN databus to the AAC control and operating unit. The AAC control and operating unit reduces the output of the coolant compressor accordingly, until the coolant compressor is switched off. Once the conditions for torque reduction have expired, the coolant compressor is switched back on.
The coolant compressor is switched off at:
- Engine load >90% (full load)
- Engine speed < 2000 rpm
The coolant compressor is switched on at:
- Engine load <90%
- Engine speed >rpm
