Following start and post-start enrichment, the fuel-air mixture is further enriched by the warming-up control because part of the fuel-air mixture precipitates on the cold engine parts.
The additional quantity of fuel is supplied to the engine in line with the control map. The injection time is extended accordingly for this purpose.
The warming-up control is dependent on:
- Coolant temperature
- Intake air temperature
- Engine speed
- Engine load
- Idle speed/part load operation
- Correction programming with STAR DIAGNOSIS
