Interrupting the power circuit (circuit 50) to the solenoid switch of the starter (starter shutoff) once engine start speed is reached.

The solenoid switch of the starter is actuated not through the ignition/start switch, but through the starter relay by the engine control module.

The voltage for the starter relay (coil) is supplied through circuit 87. The starter relay is actuated by the engine control module through ground.

When the ignition/start switch is moved out of position 2 into the start position, start recognition is activated by the engine control module through circuit 50. The engine control module interrupts the ground actuation to the starter relay and thus the engine start operation once the engine start speed of 400 to 700 rpm is reached.
