Function

When cutting in the function for heated front seats, the left front seat heated cushions (R13/1) and left front backrest heated cushions (R13/2) or right front seat heated cushions (R13/3) and right front backrest heated cushions (R13/4) are heated depending on the selected heat setting.

By operating the left front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s10) or the right front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s11) the heated seats are cut in, switched off, or the settings are changed.

The upper control panel control module (N72/1) controls the electric power consumption of the heated seats and the duration of heating.

The heating times can be programmed via diagnosis, the times listed in the table are factory settings.

If undervoltage is recognized, the appropriate LEDs that are active are flashing.

the circuit status at the electronic ignition switch control module (N73) and the battery voltage are transmitted to the upper control panel control module (N72/1) via CAN-Class B.
