Calibration 

For functions:

• Head restraint presetting
• Easy entry/exit

If an assignment is necessary between the absolute position of the adjustment and the position detected by the

• left front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/1) or 
• right front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/2)  .

This assignment is produced by a calibration procedure in which the individual adjusters have to be moved to the following stop positions:

• Forward/back adjustment front stop
• Head restraint adjustment bottom stop
• Angle adjustment top stop
• Height adjustment top stop
• Seat cushion forward/back adjustment rear stop
• Backrest adjustment front stop

Actuation must continue for min. 250 msec. after the relevant stop is reached;  the

• left front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/1)  and the right front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/2)  switches the drive off after the stop is detected.

Easy entry/exit 

In order to make it easier to leave the vehicle, the driver's seat and the steering column are moved to entry/exit position (seat moved back and steering column raised); this function can be activated/deactivated in the instrument cluster (A1)  .
