Power window obstruction sensor, function - GF72.29-P-4004Q
MODEL 209.3 /4
Function requirements
- Automatic raising function in front window activated
- Function in a range of 230 mm to 3 mm window opening
- Windows normalized
Function
If the signal for automatic raising is still present at the time of pinching, the drive is stopped.
If then the non-actuated state of the power window switch (S20/1s1, S20/1s2 or S21/2) is recognized, the window is opened approx. 10 mm.
If the non-actuated state of the power window switch (S20/1s1, S20/1s2 or S21/2)is recognized at the time of pinching, the window opens approx. 70 mm
On the driver's window the excessive force limitation is switched off in addition for approx. 10 s after reversing is recognized.
Adaptive excessive force limitation
When the windows are raised, stickiness in the window operation is registered and used for preliminary control for further actuations. The adaptation is active with each normalized window raising function. The adaptation is accomplished in the same area in which the excessive force limitation is active.
If impermissible position counter statuses result in de-normalization, the adaptive values are reset.
Adaptation is not performed if
- obstruction is detected,
- a window lock-up is present.
