Dismounting/Mounting Procedures: Notes

CAUTION: The tire should be dismounted from the wheel using the tire changer manufacturer's instructions. Use the following information to avoid damage during the dismounting/mounting procedures.

NOTE: There are two possible types of TPM system installed in R-Class vehicles: High-Line or Low-Line. For High-Line type systems, whenever tire pressures have been adjusted, the TPM system must be reactivated. New tire pressure sensors are detected automatically. For Low-Line type systems, whenever tire pressures have been adjusted, or if a wheel or tire has been changed, the TPM system must be reactivated. See RESET PROCEDURES .
