SUBJECT

Model 204 to MY2009, Model 212 with Code 018 VEH Converted to a Saleable Condition and with Code 102 Control Code Production Test 2.

If Replacing Front SAM Control Unit with Fuse and Relay Box, Also Install Wiring Harness.

Beginning with MY2010, a connection in the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module N10/1 for the starter relay is discontinued.

For vehicles prior to MY2010, install the wiring harness, which is included in the SAM order, whenever replacing the SAM control unit; otherwise, no starter will be enabled.

This installation is in AR54.21-P-1260CW Remove/install left front SAM control unit with fuse and relay box.

PROCEDURE

From plug cage 6I (6), Pin 4 to plug cage 2I (2), Pin 12 (Fig 1).
