Location

The working pressure regulating valve is located in the valve body of the shift plate.

Task

It regulates the hydraulic system's primary pressure.

Function

The level of working pressure is regulated at the working pressure regulating valve depending on current load and the gear engaged. A minimum level (basic pressure) is adjusted by the spring in the working pressure regulating valve.
