  Removing    
Danger! Risk of death caused by high voltage used for electric welding. Risk of explosion caused by welding in the area of highly inflammable materials. Risk of injury caused by welding splatter and UV light while welding. Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling welding fumes. Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and protective mask. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extractor system. AS00.00-Z-0007-01A

1 Prepare all workshop equipment and commercially available tools required for repair    
2 Remove all detachable parts in area to be repaired    
3 Cover all detachable parts remaining in vehicle with fire-resistant welding protection blanket Welding protective blanket  
4.1 Remove center roof paneling Except code (413) Panoramic glass roof with top sliding roof AR65.10-P-1000EC 
4.2 Remove panoramic roof frame With code (413) Panoramic glass roof with top sliding roof AR77.21-P-0800SX
5 Separate front roof frame (1) Weld-spot milling machine
Round wire brush
Wet and dry vacuum cleaner

6 Prepare front roof frame (1) for installation Round wire brush AR65.20-P-1006-04CC
  Install    
7 Install front roof frame (1) Multifunction device (spot welding)
Vice grip pliers (standard)

White sealing compound, 310 ml, DBL 6069.20
Adhesive kit, body, 2-component adhesive
Zinc dust paint suitable for spot welding

9 Clean weld joints and sheet metal flanges with rotary wire brush Round wire brush  
10 Clean repair area Wet and dry vacuum cleaner  
11 Remove welding protection blankets On all covered parts remaining in vehicle.

Prime repair area with primer filler
