Location

The shift pressure control solenoid valve is located on the supporting body of the electric control unit and is pressed against the shift plate valve body by means of a leaf spring.

Task

The task of the shift pressure control solenoid valve is to control the modulating pressure depending on constantly changing operating conditions, e.g. such as load change and gear change.

Design

The shift pressure control solenoid valve has a snug fit and is sealed with a gap seal facing the shift plate valve body.

The contact springs on the shift pressure control solenoid valve grip into a slot in the conductor tracks. The spring force of the contact springs means that reliable contacting is guaranteed.

Function

The shift pressure regulating solenoid valve assigns a proportional pressure to the current which is controlled by the ETC control unit (N15/3) according to the load.
