REMOVING Removing     
DANGER Risk of death  caused by contact with parts conducting high voltages. Do not touch parts which conduct high voltages. Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) should never perform any work on the ignition system AS15.10-Z-0001-01A

1 Remove engine trim panel Engines 275.95, 285 AR01.10-P-2405LA
Engine 275.98 AR01.10-P-2405IM
2 Pull out locking bar (1) to the side    
DANGER Risk of death  when touching parts conducting high voltage when the ignition is switched off After ignition is turned OFF, only disconnect the plug on the ECI power pack after first waiting for 3 minutes. AS15.15-Z-0001-01A
3 Disconnect electrical connector (2) at ECI ignition system power pack (N91).    
4 Unscrew bolts (3) and place bracket (4) to the side TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA15.15-P-1003-01A 
5 Unscrew bolts (5) and place ground line (6) to the side TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA15.15-P-1003-01A 
6 Take out ECI ignition system mains unit (N91)    
7 Install in the reverse order    
8 Read out fault memory and erase if required COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS *WH58.30-Z-1048-13A 
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
