| 2 | Open crank window on one of front doors. | Open the crank window for the duration of the curing time to prevent the rear-end door window (1) from being pressed outwards by the air pressure when the doors are closed. | |
| 3 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS [EZS] control unit | On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m). |

| 6 | Disconnect electrical connectors (2, 3) and fasten to rear-end door with adhesive tape. | Number of electrical connectors can vary depending on equipment. | |
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connector (5) and fasten to rear-end door with adhesive tape. | ||
| 8 | Pull out rubber grommet (4) | ||
| Risk of injury caused by slipping when clamping blade in the multicutter and by glass splinters when cutting out bonded windows | Always interrupt air supply when inserting or removing blade. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses. |
