	Remove/install
1	Remove glow plugs		AR15.20-P-4111CD
2	Remove cylinder head (1)		AR01.30-P-5800CD
3	Mount cylinder head (1) on the assembly device (01)	Observe owner's manual from the assembly device manufacturer (01).

4	Put together valve assembly tool and mount on the assembly device (01)	Mount retaining fork on sliding piece (05) and place thrust piece (04) vertically on upper valve spring retainer (2).

5	Press valve springs (3) together with valve assembly tool and remove valve keepers (4)	Use tweezers or magnetic finger (07). Ensure valve keepers (4) are properly fitted. This avoids loosening of the valve (6).

6	Remove upper valve spring retainer (2) and valve spring (3)	Check upper valve spring retainer (2) for scouring and replace if required.
7	Remove valve stem seals with pliers	Use new valve stem seals. Fit protective sleeve onto the valve stem. Oil valve stem seals and press on with a drift.

8	Take off lower valve spring retainer (5)	Check lower valve spring retainer (5) for score marks, cracks and pitting; replace if necessary.
9	Remove cylinder head (1) from assembly device (01) and take out valves (6)	Check shaft surface of valve for roughness and ridging and valve seat rings for roughness of the user interface (visual inspection or a with nail probe). Replace valves that have rough stem surfaces or burrs.
10	Install in the reverse order
