Liftgate Control Drive Unit

There is a new drive unit (part A 166 890 11 30) with modified performance characteristics. Once the old drive unit (part A 166 890 04 30) is out-of-stock, only the new drive unit will be available. When installing the new drive unit in vehicles, the codes must be entered in the VeDoc online vehicle data card: code 802 for MY2012, code 803 for MY2013, or code 122 for future model years.

Finally, the liftgate control unit (N121/1) must be coded using the Xentry DAS with software calibration number (SCN).
