COMPLAINT
Engine does not start after performing a software update of engine control unit or dies after starting procedure and cannot be restarted.
CAUSE
Fuel pump not activated in engine control unit
REMEDY
Activate fuel pump via engine control unit.
To do this, perform the following steps using Xentry Diagnostics:
- Select engine control unit
- Control unit adaptations
- Teach-in processes
- Activation of fuel pump
