Opening/closing front door windows, function - GF72.29-P-2000R

MODEL 230

Function of opening/closing windows, front doors

There are 3 types of operation:

The power window in the driver door is operated with the left power window switch (S20/1s1) in the driver power window switch group (S20/1).

The power window in the passenger door can be operated with the right power window switch (S20/1s2) in the driver power window switch group (S20/1) or with the passenger power window switch (S21/2). The driver power window switch group (S20/1) has the highest priority and is therefore able to interrupt the operation activated by the passenger power window switch(S21/2).

The automatic raising/lowering functions open or close the window fully. With the manual raising and lowering functions, the window moves up and down as long as the switch is operated.

Short stroke function

This function ensures that the doors and frameless side windows open and close without any problems. When the driver or passenger door is open, the relevant front and rear window is lowered by the short stroke position. So long as the short stroke is active, it is not possible to move the window up beyond the short stroke position, or to close it, also not with an operate request at the driver power window switch group (S20/1) or passenger power window switch(S21/2).
