REASON FOR CHANGE:	Updated content and added damage code

COMPLAINT

The mbrace location-based services such as vehicle locate and geo-fence may respond with incorrect vehicle location.

NOTE: In some cases the mbrace call center may have advised the customer to update the mbrace system software prior to activating a mbrace subscription.

CAUSE

Date and time calculated by the GPS receiver for the mbrace control unit (PASS) used by the mbrace services.

REMEDY

Check and update the software of the mbrace control unit N123/4 (PASS)

After completing a software update the mbrace control unit (PASS) should have one of the following part number for software "NAD" (see attachment):

172 902 46 09
231 902 10 05
222 902 77 20
242 902 83 01

NOTE: After the software update is successful the mbrace call center may not immediately see that the software has been updated in order to enroll a customer.

In this case the dealership sales department may use the Electronic Subscriber Agreement (ESA) located in Netstar to enroll customers in a mbrace subscrption.
