	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Remove/install
1	Detach ground line from battery		AR54.10-P-0003GW
2	Remove air-water duct		AR83.10-P-9998GW
3	Remove the screw/bolts of the rear engine mount	Screw/bolt, rear engine mount to engine mount carrier	*BA22.10-P-1006-01X
4	Remove screws/bolts (8) of left and right engine mount	Screw/bolt, front engine mount and bracket to frame	*BA22.10-P-1003-01X
5	Unscrew nut (9) and unfasten left and right single pipe engine vibration damper	Nut, single-tube engine vibration damper to frame/engine support	*BA22.10-P-1004-01X
6	Unscrew upper nut from right engine mount	Nut, front engine mount to engine support	*BA22.10-P-1001-01X
7	Hook load tilter into engine lifting eyes

8	Lift engine	When raising and lowering the engine, ensure that no lines are overstretched and that the engine and its detachable parts do not touch the body. Otherwise damage will occur. Ensure that engine does not touch any body parts or components and that no lines are pinched.
9	Push right engine mount to the front
10	Remove nuts (2) and screw/bolts (3) and remove heat shield (1)	Turn the heat shield (1) to remove it.

		Bolt, heat shield to transmission housing	*BA27.40-P-1003-01E
11	Unscrew screws/bolts (5) and remove bracket (4)	Bolt, starter to crankcase	*BA15.30-P-1003-01J
12	Remove strut to ATL	Bolt, support for turbocharger to turbocharger	*BA09.40-P-1008-01V
13	Detach contact protection (6) and detach electrical line circuit 30 (7)	Nut, connection for terminal designation 30	*BA15.30-P-1001-01J
14	Detach electrical line circuit 50	Nut, connection for terminal designation 50	*BA15.30-P-1002-01J
15	Remove starter (M1) from below
16	Check ring gear at the drive plate for wear and damage	When replacing the starter (M1). Rotate engine at center Bolt, crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation. If worn or damaged ↓ Replace drive plate.

17	Install in the reverse order
