NOTE: Whenever tire pressure has been adjusted from a previous specification, or when wheels or tires have been replaced, the TPM system must be activated. See RESET PROCEDURES .

NOTE: Some Canadian models may be equipped with a TPM system called the Tire Pressure Loss Warning System (Run Flat Indicator). It is an Indirect type system, which does not use tire pressure sensors installed on the wheels. The reset procedures are the same as the Direct type sytem, covered in this article.

NOTE: The Tire Pressure Loss Warning System (Run Flat Indicator) can be recognized in the multifunction display in the "Serv." menu, by the "Run Flat Indicator Active Press 'OK' to Restart" message.
