COMPLAINT
The engine idle speed is permanently increased (850 1/min or higher) after the engine control unit software has been updated.
CAUSE
The SCN coding causes the alternator to request an idle speed increase.
REMEDY
Perform SCN coding via Xentry Diagnostics.
