Remove/Install Fuel Pump Control Unit - AR47.20-P-5717RF

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Connect vehicle diagnosis system, read out variant coding from fuel system control unit (N118) and save data When replacing the fuel pump control unit (N118).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m)    
3 Remove seat cushion in the rear   AR91.12-P-1020LW
4 Remove right rear door sill (1)   AR68.30-P-4100LW
5 Remove right rear lower C-pillar trim   AR68.30-P-4490LWG
6 Remove fuel system control unit (N118) from bracket INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure fuel system control unit (N118) is seated correctly.  
7 Release and disconnect electrical connectors a fuel system control unit (N118)    
8 Remove fuel system control unit (N118)    
9 Install in the reverse order    
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10 Perform an engine test run and check engine for proper function
