| 5 | Open covers in assembly opening (2) | ||
| 6 | Slacken bolts (4, 5) | Bolts (4) in assembly openings must be accessible. | |
| 7 | Close side window and secure with textile adhesive tape (3) | The bonding surfaces must be dry and free of grease and dust. Otherwise the side window can fall down and be damaged. |

| 8 | Push bearing bracket (6) toward front and unhook | ||
| 9 | Remove bolts (7, 8) | ||

| 11 | Disconnect left front door electrical connector (X35/1) or right front door electrical connector (X35/2) | ||
| 12 | Unclip electrical connector for left front door electrical connector (X35/1) or right front door electrical connector (X35/2) from door | ||
| 13 | Remove door module (9) from door until electrical wiring harness on front door is accessible | ||
| 14 | Remove front door electrical wiring harness | ||
| 15 | Remove door module (9) | ||
| 16 | Install in the reverse order |
