REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Read out coding of transfer case control unit (N15/7) using diagnostic system    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04A
    IMPORTANT Only when replacing the transfer case control unit (N15/7) and when it can still be read out with the diagnostic system.  
2 Remove battery   AR54.10-P-0005GZ
3 Unclip wiring harness from bracket for transfer case control unit (N15/7)    
4 Detach transfer case control unit (N157) with bracket and place to one side    
5 Disconnect electrical connector from transfer case control unit (N157)    
6 Remove transfer case control unit (N157) IMPORTANT If necessary, detach the bracket from the transfer case control unit (N15/7).  
7 Install in the reverse order    
8 Code transfer case control unit (N157) IMPORTANT Only when installing a new transfer case control unit (N15/7).
