| 1 | Read out variant coding of the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) with the diagnostic system | ||

| 2 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key | ||

| 4 | Unclip electrical wiring harness (2) on ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) bracket | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connections (3) on ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) | ||
| 6 | Unclip ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) upwards and take it off | ||
| 7 | Detach bracket from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) | When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) | |
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
